The Benjamin N. Duke Scholarship Program brings creative student-leaders of the Carolinas to one of the most vibrant universities in the country, where real world problems are tackled with an intentional, innovative and interdisciplinary approach.  Where they develop an informed and empathetic understanding of "the common good," and where faculty, research and discovery are readily accessible to every student.  B. N. Duke Scholars are challenged and then given the resources to reach their full potential, to achieve their very best.

Scholars in our program are striving to make a difference in their world, in their own unique way. Our program accomplishes this through the support of their scholar peers, the guidance and mentoring of the staff, and the consistent encouragement from the entire community to stretch and grow beyond what even they thought possible.
